Reebok, as we might all know, makes shoes. They have been making shoes since the late 1800s.  It wasn’t until the 1950s that they were actually marketing their products in America.  Those of us who grew up in the 80s or 90s all know first hand the popularity of the Reebok Pump. 

They started the revolution in the sneaker industry.  That is about the time that Reebok decided to enter the fitness and exercise business. 

Reebok isn’t famous for their treadmills.  They are still well known for their sports apparel. However this hasn’t stopped them from putting their name on treadmills.  Reebok treadmills exist today in the fitness dept of your favorite department stores.

Their treadmills are of a lower quality than you would expect.  Maybe it’s their focus on clothing and shoes that’s compromising the quality of their treadmills.

Reebok treadmills are packed with different features. You can expect all the cool features that are on some top treadmills to be on your Reebok. They believe that the more features, the more enjoyable your run is going to be.

Even though the above strong points are very strong, they have their share of week points also.  Reebok treadmills are not very durable. Using it everyday will soon grow on it, and it will break down before you anticipate. This is probably why they are in the low to mid price range. ($750.00 to $1600.00) They have a below average warranty. 

Most of their models come with a lifetime on the frame.  But only one year on parts and labor.  The biggest problem is the motor, that warranty varies from one model to the next.  They should add a longer warranty period on parts and labor, this action would render the warranty acceptable.

If you ever bought an Icon machine, you would know that is why they have a short warranty period on the parts.  Icon is known for low quality parts on a feature packed machine.  I guess the belief here is that most people judge a book by its cover.

Even though Reebok Treadmills are not the best in quality, they make up for that in features. Some people think that having all the best features is what matters in fitness.  When in reality, having a machine that will last is the most important aspect when it comes to treadmills.

Reebok Treadmills are considered low quality, mainly due to their sub par construction.  It is recommended that you get a smooth or a sole treadmill for a mid-range price. 

Their newest model is the 3500c.  It’s affordable and packed with better features than its predecessors.  This treadmill has a 2hp motor and can run at a speed of 12 miles per hour.  It also can check your heart rate. You get all this for less than $1000.
